When I was a child, I remember my grandfather used to tell
us all kinds of fun and exciting stories of his adventures around the world,
how his life was growing up with his family, and other interesting quips about
his life. Unfortunately, he passed before recording any of their amazing
stories. While we are still left with fond memories of the times story, we'd
love it if they record so that we can re - watch and pass them down to our own
children some day.
When a loved one passes, everything changes. While we hold
them dear to our hearts, it would really mean a lot to us to have retained some
of the great moments in video recording. Today, it is now entirely possible and
even easy to accomplish using basic computer equipment and a bit of skill. Here
are some tips to get you started.
1. A list of stories or passages you want to share on
camera development. This usually works best when you sit with some people to
help the central list of the best stories you want to use to develop. When
recording, you're not going to want to read the paper, but to speak naturally,
as if you re - tell the story again, but this time with the camera.
2. Search for supplemental materials such as old video
tapes, audio tapes, photos, slides or other images that you can submit the
video to reference parts of the story. This is a great way to immerse the
audience in what you are talking about. If you've ever seen a documentary, very
rarely do they focus on the narrator the whole time, but to supplement what
they're saying with video, images and sound to help the audience get a sense
better what was once like in the story.
3. See if any other family or friends, as well as to join
in and offer to take on any situation. This can take some funny moments,
especially for embarrassing stories!
4. Consider introducing smart with your video, as well as
nice looking final series. If computer editing, you can inject into the title
slides beginning and end of the film, including the text for things like
credits, the film's title, and so on.
5. Make sure you have the right equipment. Would the
minimum you'd need to be simple camcorder, or even a Smartphone camera.
However, for best results, we recommend recording it as almost voice over,
using a studio microphone best clarity. This is something that our in - house
editors are very knowledgeable, and a lot of families go this route.
